Dear Homeowners,
As agreed at the meeting that took place on March 19, I will be calling a Special Meeting of Members of the Buttonwood Crossing Homeowners Association. I had agreed to hold the meeting on April 9, however I made that commitment too quickly – before confirming with the Association’s attorney, who is not available on that date. It is imperative that she be there to represent not the Board, but the Association and to ensure that everything follows proper process and any votes or other actions are fully valid. As such, I will be calling the meeting for April 23 at 6pm at the Trinity United Church of Christ (we considered Easter weekend off the table because of concerns raised from homeowners in the meeting this past Saturday). A formal notice will be sent in the mail later this week.
I apologize for the need for this change, however it is necessary in order to ensure that this Special Meeting will be valid and provide assurance to the Association Members that matters will be handled properly according to the governing documents of the Association.
