Property Modification Information

All exterior additions, changes and/or alterations, must be submitted to and approved by the Board of Directors, before any project is executed. All plans should include specifications, showing what materials are to be used, the color, shape, measurements, and the purpose or reason for the modifications.

Please note, some plans may need the approval of Hallam Borough and, depending on the project, may also require a permit. Here is a helpful document provided by the Borough in the Summer of 2022.

Paint Color Requirements

There are specific paint colors that must be used on the exterior of your home – for doors, shutters, and trim.  If you need to apply paint, follow these steps:

1. Use the SITE PLAN to determine the appropriate color to use on your house.
2. Call Sherwin Williams to request the color, letting them know you are in Buttonwood Crossing.  If they are unfamiliar with the color, let them know it is a custom color just for Buttonwood Crossing.  If needed, you can provide them with the appropriate color formula using the links below:

   Forest Green
   White (Trim)
